Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to ResolveX, an AI-powered decentralised dispute resolution oracle operating on the Base blockchain. By accessing or using the ResolveX protocol, smart contracts, web application, or any associated services (collectively, the "Protocol"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the Protocol. Please read these terms carefully before registering as a Market Partner, Disputer, or Juror.

2. Protocol Overview

ResolveX provides a decentralised resolution service for prediction market platforms. The Protocol uses AI agents and on-chain jury mechanisms to determine the outcomes of prediction market questions. ResolveX operates autonomously via smart contracts deployed on the Base blockchain. Anthropic and ResolveX operate independently, and ResolveX is not affiliated with any prediction market platform unless explicitly stated.

3. Eligibility

By using ResolveX, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You are not located in a jurisdiction where participation in prediction markets, blockchain protocols, or digital asset staking is prohibited
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
  • You are not subject to any sanctions, embargoes, or legal restrictions that would prohibit your use of this Protocol

4. Market Partner Terms

Market Partners who register on the Protocol agree to the following:

  • You will deploy smart contracts that correctly implement the IResolveXClient interface
  • You accept that resolution outcomes are determined by AI and/or jury processes and are final once confirmed on-chain
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of evidence, resolution criteria, and market questions submitted to the Protocol
  • Protocol fees ($2 USDT per request) are non-refundable
  • Bond amounts are refunded only in the event of a valid cancellation (no AI response within 24 hours)
  • ResolveX is not liable for incorrect resolutions arising from inaccurate or incomplete evidence provided by Market Partners

5. Disputer Terms

Registered Disputers agree to the following:

  • Disputes require staking a bond equal to the case bond in USDT
  • Disputes are final and cannot be withdrawn after on-chain submission
  • A losing dispute results in full forfeiture of your staked bond to the ResolveX treasury
  • You accept all financial risk associated with disputing
  • Submitting disputes in bad faith or to manipulate outcomes may result in permanent deregistration from the Protocol
  • ResolveX does not guarantee any particular outcome from jury voting

6. Juror Terms

Registered Jurors agree to the following:

  • A minimum stake of 100 RESOLVE tokens is required for jury eligibility
  • Incorrect votes result in slashing of 10% of your RESOLVE stake
  • Slashed tokens are permanently burned and are not recoverable
  • Rewards from correct votes are automatically staked back to your position
  • If your stake drops below 100 RESOLVE, your Juror status is deactivated
  • Jurors are expected to vote based on evidence and resolution criteria — coordinated or collusive voting may result in permanent deregistration

7. RESOLVE Token

The RESOLVE token is a utility token used exclusively within the ResolveX protocol for Juror staking and governance. RESOLVE tokens:

  • Are not securities, investments, or financial instruments
  • Carry no promise of profit or financial return
  • Are subject to slashing and burning as described in the Protocol mechanics
  • Have a maximum supply of 100,000,000 tokens
  • Should not be purchased with the expectation of profit from the efforts of others

8. Smart Contract Risk

The ResolveX Protocol operates via smart contracts on the Base blockchain. You acknowledge and accept that:

  • Smart contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities despite rigorous auditing
  • Blockchain transactions are irreversible
  • Gas fees and on-chain costs are your responsibility
  • ResolveX is not liable for losses arising from smart contract exploits, blockchain failures, or network congestion

9. No Financial Advice

Nothing on the ResolveX platform constitutes financial, investment, or legal advice. All participation in the Protocol is at your own risk. You should consult qualified professionals before making any financial decisions related to digital assets or prediction markets.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ResolveX and its contributors, developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Protocol, including but not limited to loss of digital assets, RESOLVE tokens, USDT bonds, or profits.

11. Modifications to Terms

ResolveX reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Material changes will be announced via the Protocol's official communication channels. Continued use of the Protocol after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable decentralised protocol norms. Where jurisdiction applies, disputes shall be resolved under the laws of the applicable territory as determined by the Protocol's registered entity.

13. Contact
